Zinkbisglycinat ist eine Form, bei der Zink an die Aminosäure Glycin gebunden ist. Dein Körper kann solche Bindungen leichter aufnehmen, über einen eigenen Kanal im Darm. So gelangt das Zink schneller und effizienter an den richtigen Ort. Außerdem ist es sanft für den Magen und kann problemlos zusammen mit einer Mahlzeit eingenommen werden.

NRV steht für Nährstoffbezugswerte und bezeichnet die Menge, die notwendig ist, um einen Mangel zu vermeiden. Für Zink sind das 9 mg pro Tag für Männer und 7 mg für Frauen. Die sichere Obergrenze liegt in Europa bei 25 mg pro Tag und in den Vereinigten Staaten bei 40 mg pro Tag.

Mit 15 mg bleibst du also auch dann unter dem täglichen Höchstwert, wenn du bereits genug Zink über die Ernährung bekommst. Und obwohl wir die am besten aufnehmbare Form verwenden, wird ein Zinkpräparat nie zu 100 % aufgenommen.

Das geht, aber es ist nicht zwingend notwendig. Andere Zinkformen müssen mit Nährstoffen wie Kalzium oder Eisen aus deiner Nahrung konkurrieren und werden dadurch schlechter aufgenommen. Zinkbisglycinat funktioniert anders: Es wird über einen eigenen Kanal im Darm aufgenommen und kann daher auch zusammen mit einer Mahlzeit gut verwertet werden.

Für die meisten Menschen ist Zink bei täglicher Einnahme unbedenklich. Es kann jedoch die Aufnahme bestimmter Medikamente beeinflussen, zum Beispiel von Antibiotika oder Schilddrüsenmedikamenten. Nimmst du Medikamente? Sprich in diesem Fall sicherheitshalber vorher mit deinem Arzt.
